A traffic stop in south London has led to the seizure of narcotics and charges against a London man.
According to London police, an officer arrested a prohibited driver who was driving a motorcycle around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday on Wellington Road near Bradley Ave. Police say the man was searched and the officer found cash and illicit drugs. Police then searched a home a few blocks away. In total, they seized 55 grams of suspected fentanyl, five 12 mg hydromorphone pills, 8 mg of Dilaudid, and $1,010 in cash. Police estimate the street value of the drugs is more than $13,000.
A 47-year-old London man is charged with operating a vehicle while prohibited, three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance, and breach of probation.
