Police are asking for the public's help to locate a pickup truck that is connected to the shooting death of a man on Oneida of the Thames First Nation.
The Ontario Provincial Police said 36-year-old Isaac Doxtator was found dead from a gunshot wound at a Clara Road property on Monday. As a result, 43-year-old Harlo Cornelius of the Oneida Nation has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.
Police confirmed to Blackburn News on Thursday that no other suspects are being sought in Doxtator's death.
Officers are now trying to locate a pickup truck that is part of their ongoing investigation into the homicide. The vehicle is described as a green, older model Chevrolet Silverado, with large side rear-view mirrors. The truck is also believed to have loose tires in the truck bed.
The ongoing investigation is being led by the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
