Loaded gun, fentanyl seized in raid

Three people face charges after police seized a loaded pistol and about $80,000 worth of the deadly opioid fentanyl.

Officers with the Guns and Drugs Section raided a home on Dundas Street near Third Street on Thursday. They seized a loaded Glock semi-automatic pistol, 160 grams of fentanyl, about $50,000 in cash, six cell phones, and two digital scales.

A 30-year-old Toronto man, a 34-year-old London woman, and a 27-year-old London man each face several charges, including careless storage of a firearm, careless storage of ammunition, possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, and possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.
