Two people were taken to hospital after a sedan and a tractor-trailing hauling a load of grain collided north of London Tuesday morning.
The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highbury Avenue and Ilderton Road around 8:15 a.m. The crash sent the tractor-trailer into a wooded area along the ditch and demolished the front-end of the car.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Middlesex OPP continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
Highbury Avenue between Ilderton Road and Ten Mile Road is expected to be closed until 4 p.m. as crews work to clear the debris and transfer the load of grain to a new transport truck.
