St. Thomas police arrested the 68-year-old man on Wednesday after the teen disclosed the assault.
He is now charged with one count of sexual assault and was released from custody with a future court date.
Police are not releasing the man's name in order to protect the identity of the 14-year-old.
They were produced during an intense storm last Saturday afternoon.
