Charges have been laid against a 56-year-old London man accused of sexually assaulting a client at his east-end massage therapy business.
London police have been investigating the alleged incident at Healing by Design since it was reported to them late last December. According to investigators, a 30-year-old woman had been receiving weekly massage therapy and reflexology treatments at the Brydges Street business since January of last year.
During a scheduled treatment on March 6, 2019 the woman was sexually assaulted, police said.
Paul Douglas Jubenville, the owner of the business, was arrested by police earlier this week in relation to the investigation. He is now charged with one count of sexual assault.
Jubenville has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in London court on July 28.
