Man charged after allegedly coughing on cops

A Guelph man is accused of intentionally coughing on London police officers and telling them he had the coronavirus.

London police were called around 7:15 p.m. Saturday to a reported disturbance outside a home on Stuart Street. A man was arrested at the scene for breaching a recognizance. According to police, he struggled with officers during the arrest.

One of the officers suffered minor injuries.
