A 36-year-old Norfolk County man wanted by provincial police could be hiding out in the London or Brantford area.
According to Norfolk OPP, an arrest warrant has been issued for Nicholas Christopher Sawadski in connection with an incident at a Peel Street home in Simcoe. Details of the incident have not been released.
Sawadski is charged with escaping lawful custody, theft of a motor vehicle, mischief under $5,000, dangerous operation of a vehicle, flight from a peace officer, operating a vehicle while prohibited, failure to comply with a probation order, and failure to comply with release order.
He is described as Caucasian, 5'9", 155 lbs, with a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes. Police believe Sawadski may be travelling to the London or Brantford area. If spotted police advised citizens not to approach him, but to call 911.
