One person is dead and another is in police custody after a shooting in a London apartment building.
The London Police Service said on Tuesday at around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the apartment building at 580 Dundas Street after receiving reports of gunfire on the eighth floor.
Officers arrived to find one person dead from a gunshot wound. The person is not being named until after next of kin have been notified.
Another person was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody. No charges have been laid at this time.
Police said the investigation is in its early stages and no further information is being released at this time.
