Easter Monday is proving to be a blustery one across the London area.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for London, Middlesex County, and Oxford County on Monday afternoon. It also issued wind warnings for Elgin County, Chatham-Kent, and Essex County.
Forecasters said strong winds arrived in the region early Monday afternoon and were expected to last into the evening.
"A few gusts of 80 km/h may occur," the advisory said. "Scattered power outages will be possible. Loose objects may be tossed around."
The winds will diminish later Monday night.
