The search is on for a knife-wielding man and a woman accused in a carjacking in Oxford County.
Two people were in a vehicle on Beachville Road when they were approached by a man and woman around 4 p.m. on Monday. The pair, who were armed with a knife, ordered the driver and a passenger to get out of the vehicle. They did as they were told and the man and woman took off with the vehicle.
No one was hurt and the stolen vehicle was later found in Norfolk County.
Oxford OPP believe the suspects in this incident are the same pair accused of using a stolen pickup truck to crash into three vehicles, including two police cruisers at the Westmount Motel in Woodstock minutes before. The motel is located on Beachville Road.
