Woodstock police are searching for a suspect after an east-end bank robbery.
A man walked into the TD Bank at Springbank Avenue and Dundas Street around 1:30 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from the teller. He got the cash and took off.
No one was hurt and no weapon was seen.
The man is described as Caucasian, 5'9'' with a slim build and short facial hair. He was wearing blue sun glasses, brown or tan pants, a cream coloured sweatshirt, and a cream and grey winter tuque with flaps covering the ears.
Police are reassuring the public there is no concern for public safety. They asked that anyone who spots this suspect not to approach him, but to call them at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
