Police are urging patience and caution ahead of the Friday the 13th Motorcycle Rally in Port Dover.
Norfolk County OPP said with the expected increase in motorcycle traffic in the area on Friday, drivers are being asked to be extra vigilant.
"The OPP is asking all drivers to take those two extra seconds before making a lane change or proceeding through an intersection. Those two seconds can make the difference between life and death," said Inspector Joseph Varga, the Norfolk County OPP detachment commander, in a statement.
The OPP said officers will be on hand at the event to ensure the safety of those in attendance.
"Norfolk County OPP is urging everyone that will be attending this event to plan ahead if consuming intoxicating substances," the OPP said.
The motorcycle rally has been held every Friday the 13th in Port Dover since 1981.
