Provincial police are trying to track down the owner of thousands of dollars worth of stolen audio equipment.
Officers searching a storage facility in Tillsonburg earlier this month turned up large professional speaker sets, soundboards, amplifiers, microphone and PA speaker stands, audio-video wiring, and a lighting kit. Based on the high quality of the items, the OPP believes they belong to a DJ or MC service.
Much of the equipment was found in black Pelican cases, with items suggesting the owner travels across southwestern Ontario for work.
The equipment was likely stolen from the London area, police said.
Anyone who has had this type of equipment stolen is asked to call Elgin County OPP at 519-631-2920.
