The London Lightning beat the KW Titans 102-93 to kick off their season at Budweiser Gardens on Friday.
The Lightning led the Titans 20-18 at the end of the first quarter and held the advantage throughout the second for a 49-42 lead heading into halftime. London extended their lead to over 10 points in the third frame and held back the Titans again in the fourth to win with a nine-point advantage.
Omar Strong led scoring with 19 points and four rebounds, while AJ Gaines put up 17 points and had 11 rebounds. Xavier Moon added another 16 points and nine rebounds.
The Lightning are in Windsor on Saturday to take on the Express at 7 p.m.
