A wanted Central Elgin man who was considered to be "potentially dangerous" is now in custody after police issued a warrant for his arrest.
Police announced on Tuesday that the arrest warrant was issued for Peter Elliott, 61, by Elgin OPP for breaching conditions of his release.
Elliott was reportedly seen in London last Friday, and he was located and arrested by police late Thursday afternoon.
"The Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Peter Elliott. He was taken into custody without incident around 5 p.m. on November 5, 2019," police said in a news release.
During their search, police considered Elliott to be potentially dangerous.
