A 43-year-old London man was tasered by police after allegedly lunging at an officer with a knife during an arrest.
London police went to a home on Beckworth Avenue to arrest a suspect on behalf of another police service around 9:15 a.m. on Monday. When officers arrived, a man inside the home came at one of them with a knife. The officer tasered the man, who was then arrested.
Paramedics were called as a precaution. The man was not injured and was taken to police headquarters.
The officer was not hurt in the incident.
