Woman dies following two-vehicle crash

A 68-year-old woman is dead and two men have been rushed to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in London's south end.

The London Police Service said officers responded to the crash on Highbury Avenue South near Scotland Drive late Monday afternoon.

The driver, a 71-year-old man, and a passenger, a 68-year-old woman, in one vehicle were rushed to hospital in serious condition. The woman was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 57-year-old man, was also transported to hospital in serious condition.

Highbury Avenue South was closed between Scotland and Westminster following the crash but has since been reopened.
