Provincial police in Norfolk County have released the name of the pedestrian who died after being hit by a transport truck in Delhi.
Daxxon Quase Hader, 26, of Norfolk County was pronounced dead on Saturday. According to police, Hader was struck by a transport truck that was turning onto Mill Street from Highway 3. The truck was going east when it made the turn to head south on Mill Street.
Police say the truck driver wasn't hurt and remained on the scene to co-operate with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
