The London Knights had little trouble with Ottawa, beating the visiting 67's 3-0 at Budweiser Gardens Friday night.
Brett Brochu stopped all 18 shots the 67's managed in a game that was dominated by the Knights. Josh Nelson opened the scoring for London at 10:53 of the second period. Connor McMichael made it 2-0 at 12:32 of the second. The goal marked McMichael's 100th point in the OHL.
In the third, Ryan Merkley scored his first goal as a Knights since his trade to London from Peterboro. Merkley also had an assist on McMichael's second period goal.
The Knights are now off until next Friday, when they take on Owen Sound at Budweiser Gardens.
