Police investigating after body found in Kiwanis Park

London police are looking for answers after the discovery of a body near Pottersburg Creek.

The body of a man, believed to be between 50 and 70 years of age, was found in the wooded area in Kiwanis Park on September 29.

"Although no foul play is suspected, police have been unable to identify the deceased and therefore request the assistance of the public," police said in a news release issued Friday.

The deceased man was about 5' 7" and had long hair, facial hair, and had no teeth. He was wearing a pair of brown, angle high hiking boots and a camouflage top. He also had a black “Proud to Farm” OFA (Ontario Federation of Agriculture) baseball hat and a green backpack.

It's believed he had been camping in the area for some time.
