A two-vehicle crash northwest of London has left one person dead.
Middlesex OPP were called to Nairn Road at Ilderton Road in Middlesex Centre after a pickup truck and a transport truck collided around 6:45 a.m. on Thursday. The force of the collision sent both vehicles into the ditch.
The driver of the pickup suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital. The name of the deceased is not being released until police notify the individual's family.
The transport driver was treated for minor injuries.
The OPP's technical collision investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash. Narin Road from Evan Drive to Hedley Drive and Ilderton Road from Bear Creek Road to Coldstream Road were closed for several hours.
