Andrew Scheer will make his first appearance of the federal election campaign in London.
The Conservative Leader will be canvassing at Storybook Gardens at 1085 Commissioners Rd. W with London West Conservative candidate Liz Snelgrove Tuesday afternoon. Snelgrove is trying to take the riding from Liberal incumbent Kate Young, who was first elected in the 2015 vote.
Scheer's London stop will follow visits earlier in the day to the Niagara region city of Thorold, Cambridge, and Kitchener. He is the third major party leader to make a stop in the city since the election campaign began earlier this month.
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau visited the city last week. He used the campaign stop to read to a small group of students at Blessed Sacrament Catholic elementary school on Oxford Street East.
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh launched his election campaign in London on September 11, delivering what he called a "hopeful message to Canadians" from Goodwill Industries on Horton Street.
