The final long weekend of the summer has arrived.
Labour Day, a nod to workers and the labour union movement, is celebrated each year on the first Monday in September and is a day off for most. The statutory holiday includes a free picnic hosted by the London and District Labour Council at Thames Park at 4 Ridout St. from noon to 3 p.m. on Monday.
Whether you're planning to head to the picnic, relax at the cottage, sun yourself at the beach or stick close to home, there are a number of closures to keep in mind.
