Two attacked outside of LGBTQ nightclub

Two people were hurt in what London police believe was a hate-motivated attack outside of a downtown LGBTQ nightclub over the weekend.

Police were called about a disturbance outside of Lavish at 238 Dundas St. around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday.

When officers arrived they found two people with injuries from an assault. They were treated by paramedics.

"The assault has been deemed hate/bias-motivated," said police. "At this time no charges have been laid as the investigation is still in the preliminary stages."
