Charges have been laid against four people after a police raid on two London homes and a vehicle turned up two loaded handguns and more than $35,000 worth of methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.
London police searched a home on Wilkins Street, a home on King Street and an SUV on Wednesday.
Officers found 271 grams of methamphetamine, 59 grams of cocaine, nine grams of fentanyl, 189 Xanax pills, two loaded handguns with more than 600 rounds of ammunition, and body armour. Approximately $760 in cash was also seized.
A 33-year-old man, a 38-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, all from London, were all arrested and are now charged with possession of a Schedule I substance and Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of firearms and ammunition, possession of a restricted firearm, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, and altering the serial number of a firearm.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 45-year-old London man in relation to the investigation. He is jointly charged with the 33-year-old with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
