A 65-year-old pilot and his 63-year-old passenger were shaken, but otherwise unhurt after the small airplane they were in crashed into a field, west of Tillsonburg.
The plane was attempting to take off from a field south of Brownsville Road in Brownsville just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday when it experienced mechanical issues, Oxford OPP said.
The plane crashed upside down in a cornfield. Luckily, neither of the two men in the plane were hurt.
The Transport Safety Board of Canada and the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre are investigating the cause of the crash.
