A man and woman wanted in connection with an armed home invasion in the east-end last month have now been arrested.

Randolph Edwin Sisson, 44, and Cheyanne Metatawabin, 25, both of London were taken into custody on Friday night after being spotted by officers in the area of Wharncliffe Road North and Western Road, police said in a statement issued Tuesday.

The pair are charged with armed robbery, uttering threats of death or bodily harm, and forcible entry. Sisson is additionally charged with two counts of breaching probation, uttering threats of death or bodily harm, assault causing bodily harm, three counts of assault, and possession of an imitation weapon. Metatawabin is also facing two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from an incident at a Hamilton Road home around 3:30 a.m on June 21. According to police, a woman answered a knock at the door and four people forced their way inside the residence. The four intruders, who are known to the victim, were armed with an expandable baton, an axe and what appeared to be handguns.

The woman and a friend were assaulted before the four took off with some of the victims’ personal property. One of the two victims had to be treated for unknown injuries.

Candace Robin Bourque, 46, and Terry Junior Philip, 36, both of London, were arrested shortly after the robbery. They are charged with armed robbery, forcible entry and possession of imitation weapon. Bourque is also charged with uttering threats of death or bodily harm.
