Low-cost airline Swoop will soon offer direct flights from the London International Airport to Las Vegas, Orlando, and Cancun.
The WestJet subsidiary will begin the twice weekly, non-stop flights to the three destinations October 3 and continue them through the winter months until April 25, 2020, airport officials announced Tuesday.
"We're excited to offer passengers non-stop ultra-low cost flights to Cancun, Las Vegas and Orlando from London," Airport President Michael Seabrook said in a statement. "These added flights are further indications of Swoop's success in London. With the combination of great flight dates and ultra-low-cost fares, we hope travellers in southwestern Ontario make the most of these new flights this winter."
Swoop began flying out of London earlier this year, offering direct flights between the city and Abbotsford, B.C., Edmonton, and Halifax. The non-stop flights to Abbotsford and Edmonton will continue the daily flights through the winter season, except on Saturdays.
Tickets for the three new U.S. and Mexico destinations went on sale to travellers on Tuesday.
