Emergency crews were called to the structure on Hiawatha Street around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
Preliminary information shows the blaze was accidentally started by cooking equipment inside the building.
CN Rail police continue to investigate.
