Drivers in the Wharncliffe Road and Horton Street area had to find a new route after a tractor trailer took a turn too tightly and got caught on a guard rail.
The transport was turning right from westbound Horton Street onto northbound Wharncliffe Road around 2 p.m. on Thursday when the back wheels of the big rig's trailer jumped the curb and caught a guard rail under the railway bridge.
London police temporarily closed the stretch of road between Horton Street and Stanley Street while a tow truck freed the tractor trailer.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the mishap.
