Adam Boqvist leads Knights to Game 3 win over Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires are one game away from elimination following a 6-3 loss to the London Knights in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Will Cuylle kicked off the game with a goal for Windsor 14:18 into the first period. However, Adam Boqvist was able to put London in the lead with a goal in the final minute of the frame, and another early in the second. Tyler Angle and Louka Henault both scored in the second to put the Spitfires back into the lead headling in the third.

The Knights gained momentum in the final period and Boqvist was able to score his third and fourth goals for the night to give London a 4-3 lead with just under seven minutes left in the game. Liam Foudy scored for London 18:33 into the frame and Alex Formenton added another in the final minute to cap off the win for the Knights.

London goaltender Jordan Kooy made 25 saves during the game, while Windsor goal Colton Incze made 23.

The Knights lead the best-of-seven series 3-0 and will look to sweep the Spitfires in Game 4 on Thursday. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. in Windsor.
