Two arrested in east-London home invasion

London police have made two arrests in connection with an armed home invasion in the east-end over the weekend.

Police got a 911 call about two men, possibly armed with weapons, who had forced their way into a Tiffany Drive home around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday. Officers arrived as the men were leaving the home. They were arrested without incident.

A large knife was found in an area where one of the suspects was arrested, police said.

One person inside the home suffered minor injuries during the invasion, but did not require medial treatment.

So far, no charges have been laid, but the investigation is on-going.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
