The London Knights edged the Flint Firebirds 3-2 in overtime in OHL action on Friday.
The Firebirds scored the only goal for the first period for an early advantage, but Alec Regula and Evan Bouchard both scored for London in the first half of the second frame to take the lead. Flint scored 7:09 into the third to tie things up, and neither team was able to regain the lead forcing the game into OT.
Adam Boqvist scored the game-winner for London 2:24 into the extra frame.
London goaltender Jordan Kooy made 26 saves out 28 shots on net.
The Knights are at home again on Saturday to battle the Saginaw Spirit at 7 p.m.
