A 33-year-old London man is facing half a dozen charges after several women in another country were offered money to sexually assault children and send images of the assaults to a man online.
The London police internet child exploitation unit received information from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre earlier this month about an individual posting suspected child pornography through Skype.
Further investigation by police uncovered conversations between a man and multiple women from another country, in which the women were encouraged to sexually assault young children and send pictures of the acts to the man in exchange for cash.
Last Friday, police raided a home in the southeast-end and seized several electronic devices.
Howard Owen Milne, 33, of London is now charged with three counts of unlawfully possessing child pornography, one count of importing/selling/distributing child pornography, and two counts of making a telecommunication agreement to commit specific criminal offences with another under the age of 16.
He is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on Friday.
