A 23-year-old London man has been charged with attempted murder after an early morning stabbing.
According to police, they received reports that a stabbing occurred at an address on Wolfe Street near Waterloo Street around 4:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a 30-year-old man with several knife inflicted injuries. He was transported to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and was later released.
A suspect was located in the area and taken into police custody. A knife was recovered from the scene.
Police say the victim and the accused knew each other and there is no threat to public safety.
As a result of the investigation, Aaron Dustin is charged with attempted murder.
The charge has yet to be proven in court. Dustin in scheduled to appear in court Saturday.
