Hydro One reported the power outage around 1:30 p.m. Affected areas included Aylmer, Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, Courtland, Norwich, Delhi, Straffordville, and East Oxford.
The cause of the widespread outage was not released, but Hydro One crews were able to restore power by 4 p.m.
