Nathan Dunkley scored twice as the London Knights beat the Kitchener Rangers 5-2 Sunday afternoon at The Aud.
The Knights now have 63 points atop the OHL Midwest Division, and are now just one point behind the Ottawa 67s for the overall lead in the OHL.
Kitchener got on the board first when Jonathan Yantsis scored his 30th goal of the season, on the power play in the first period.
The Knights broke the game open in the second period, with three unanswered goals scored. Antonio Stranges tied the game for London at 3:22, then Dunkley scored the go-ahead goal two-and-a-half minutes later. Billy Moskal added a short-handed insurance score for London before the Rangers got that goal back when Riley Damiani scored. Dunkley scored his second goal of the game before the second intermission to give the Knights a 4-2 advantage.
Liam Foudy scored a power-play goal for London at 10:05 in the third period.
Joseph Raaymakers turned aside 25 shots in the net for the Knights, while Lucas Pfeil stopped 34 shots for the Rangers.
London travels to Barrie Thursday night to take on the Colts.
