Police are looking for witnesses after recovering a pickup truck that is believed to have been used as the getaway vehicle used in a jewellery store robbery in Strathroy.
The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service said officers recovered the dark blue 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck on Mill Lane near Metcalfe Street on December 28, a day after the robbery at Poag’s Jewellers. Police said two male suspects smashed some of the store's glass cases and made off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
Officers have since learned that the vehicle was reported stolen at around 10:30 p.m. on October 12, from an address on Marconi Boulevard in London. The vehicle's licence plate is AW59012.
