London police are reminding residents to lock their doors after officers responded to 13 daytime break-ins in the city's "Old South" area over a three-week period.
The incidents all took place from September 23 to October 9 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and police were able to connect them by detecting a pattern with some analytical software they purchased with funding from the province.

Investigators said in each case, the suspects tried to get inside through unlocked or insecure doors and windows first, but resorted to forced entry if everything was locked up. Officers said each of the homes were empty at the time of the break-ins.
Police are also urging members of the public to report any and all suspicious activity.
