What's open, closed on Thanksgiving Monday

This weekend will be a long one for most as the country pauses to mark Thanksgiving.

The statutory holiday on Monday is expected to be sunny and warm, following two days of rainy weather Saturday and Sunday. It also comes with the usual list of closures.

Below is the break down of what will be open and closed in London on Thanksgiving Monday:

CLOSED:

Government offices (municipal, provincial, and federal) Canada Post (no mail delivery) Schools Malls (including White Oaks Mall, Masonville Place, and Westmount Shopping Centre) Banks LCBO/Beer Stores Grocery stores Costco Wholesale London Public Library branches Most drug stores (Shoppers Drug Mart locations at 1224 Commissioners Rd.W., 510 Hamilton Rd. and in Sherwood Forest Mall at 1225 Wonderland Rd. N will be open from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.)

OPEN:

Labatt Retail Store on Horton St. – 11a.m.-6 p.m. Fanshawe Pioneer Village – 10 a.m – 4:30 p.m. (final day of the season) Fanshawe Conservation Area (for campsite availability call 1-866-668-2267) Movie theatres and most restaurants The LTC will be running on a Sunday schedule

Normal service returns on Tuesday.

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
