Provincial police are looking for two suspects after an ATM was stolen from a bank in Waterford.
Norfolk OPP were called to the TD Bank on Main St. S around 4:13am on Thursday. Investigators determined two men attached a cable around the ATM and ripped it from the wall using a flatbed truck.
The truck then headed south on Main St., dragging the ATM. The getaway left a trail of debris on the road, according to police.
The vehicle was later found abandoned on Woodley Rd.
It is believed a black pickup truck spotted in the area was used to pick up the two suspects.
The first suspect had his face covered and was wearing a dark coloured hoodie style sweatshirt and camouflage pants. The other suspect also had his face covered and was wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood, and grey coloured pants.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
