Charges have been laid in relation to an armed robbery at a Woodstock truck stop.
A man allegedly used a weapon to rob the T.A. Travel Centre at 535 Mill St., near Hwy. 401 shortly before 8pm Tuesday and then took off in a grey sedan.
Woodstock police and Oxford OPP began a search for the suspect, locating the getaway vehicle in Ingersoll roughly ten minutes later.
A 32-year-old Woodstock man is charged with robbery with a weapon, theft under $5,000 of a motor vehicle, wearing a disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police have not indicated what type of weapon was used during the robbery.
