Canada's Olympic ice dancing champions will soon have another honour to add to their list.
It was announced Monday that Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir will be among ten people who will be added to Canada's Walk of Fame this year.
According to its website, the Walk of Fame "aims to celebrate Canadians who have excelled in their respective fields in order to engage and to inspire the next generation."
The London-born Virtue and Moir are being honoured for their achievements in ice dancing, which include three Olympic medals (including gold medals in Vancouver in 2010 and in Pyeongchang in 2018), four World Championships, and eight Canadian Championships.
Other inductees this year include SCTV veteran Andrea Martin, actor Seth Rogen, astronaut Chris Hadfield, and singer Andy Kim. A posthumous honour will be given to the late singer and poet Leonard Cohen.
A ceremony will be held December 1 in Toronto.
