Two men and a woman are facing weapons charges after police seized a semi-automatic rifle and drugs from an east London home.
The London Police Service, RCMP, and OPP searched a home on Pine Lawn Ave., south of Hamilton Rd. on Friday. Officers turned up a semi-automatic rifle, 17 rounds of ammunition, 13g of fentanyl, 2g of crystal methamphetamine, and a stolen e-bike.
A 31-year-old man, a 53-year-old man, and a 35-year-old woman, all from London, were arrested. All three are charged with possession of a regulated firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, possession of a firearm other than restricted or prohibited firm knowingly not holding a licence, and careless storage of a firearm and ammunition.
The 31-year-old man and 35-year-old woman are also charged with possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Both men are charged with possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000.
