(BlackburnNews.com photo)A South-West Oxford Township man is facing child pornography charges following a lengthy internet investigation by provincial police.
Oxford OPP officers raided a home in connection to their investigation last Thursday. Several computer devices were seized.
Walter Shane Butt, 39, is charged with one count of making available child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography.
He remains in police custody. The investigation is said to be on-going.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
