A 24-year-old St. Thomas man is facing impaired charges after a vehicle skidded across a front lawn and crashed into a parked car.
St Thomas police were called to the Shaw Valley subdivision around 7pm Sunday after a driver lost control of his vehicle while trying to make a left turn from Oakmont St. onto Glemwood Dr. The vehicle tore across the front yard of one home before crashing into a parked car in the laneway of another home.
Witnesses told police the vehicle was seen speeding through the subdivision in the moments prior to the crash.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
An unidentified 24-year-old man is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and being impaired by drugs.
