Two Londoners Charged In Gas Bar Robbery

A man and woman are facing charges in relation to a gas station robbery in north London.

They were arrested Saturday, nearly a week after a man walked into the gas bar at 1845 Adelaide St. N around 7:30am on April 15 and demanded money from the female employee.

The man threatened to shoot the worker, but no weapon was seen, according to London police. He then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and property. The gas station employee was not physically hurt.

Investigators determined the getaway vehicle used had been stolen from an address on Mount Pleasant Ave. days before the robbery.

A 26-year-old London man is charged with robbery with violence or threats, disguise with intent, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and driving while disqualified.

A 30-year-old London woman is charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of a Schedule I substance.
