The charges stem from a robbery at the CIBC at 780 Hyde Park Rd. around 10:15am Monday. According to police, a man arrived at the bank in a pickup truck that was reported stolen from a lot on Mornington Ave. The man then walked into the bank, told a teller he had a weapon and demanded money. No weapon was seen.

No one was injured during the robbery and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police found the empty stolen vehicle nearby.

Police have said Lamore is wanted in connection with a number of bank robberies and other unspecified offences across Ontario and should be considered violent. Anyone who comes across the 33-year-old is urged not to approach him but to call 911 immediately.
