Officers say the woman is still in the hospital with serious, non life-threatening injuries.
The London Police Service reported the incident Thursday evening and said the pedestrian was struck at the rail crossing on Ridout St. N near Bathurst St.
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
